While Away Bed and Breakfast is located 2.4km north of the beautiful tourist township of Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast, and 42 kms east of the Central Queensland city of Rockhampton, know throughout the country as the Beef Capital of Australia.

Located just 100 metres from a lovely unspoilt beach, While Away Bed and Breakfast is an ideal spot for that perfect holiday or if you are just passing through Central Queensland and need that peaceful, relaxing stopover.

TRAVELLING NORTH THROUGH ROCKHAMPTON.
When travelling from Rockhampton from the southern side of the City you have the choice of two bridges to cross the Fitzroy River, the first being the Fitzroy River Bridge and second is the Neville Hewitt Bridge. Travel north for approximately 7km and turn right at the traffic lights after you pass the Central Queensland University on your right.
The intersection is well sign posted.

Continue in an easterly direction for approx 32km to the township of Yeppoon. (see Yeppoon Map for more detailed directions)

TRAVELLING SOUTH FROM MACKAY,
When entering Rockhampton from the north, you enter the city via the suburb of Parkhurst. On your left you will see the Rockhampton Heritage Village. The first major intersection is the Yeppoon turnoff. Turn left and travel in an easterly direction towards Yeppoon.

Then follow the directions as listed above in travelling north entry.....
